Call for your structure
This is directed at Designers, Programmers, Project Managers, Scientists, Artists, or anyone else who has a lot of digital project files.
THE MOVEMENT is currently in the research phase of a (secret) project which could lead to a new non-linear method of organization. What we are looking for is the structures you currently use, and we’ve made it easy to show us.
Please download this script if your on a mac, or this program if your on a PC.
All you have to do is:
- run the script
- choose the folder containing all of your projects
- choose a new folder for the output file
- Make a zip of the newly created folder & contents
- send it along to truthstructures[at]thmvmnt.com with any explanation you can give as to the philosophy of your organization
The script simply copies the structure of your directories and not the files, as you may notice by the file size.
This project will help immensely since we are looking into new methods of organization. If you are so kind as to participate in this project, we will return the favour by sending you the results. An experiment of this kind really depends on people seeing the value of it and sending it to their friends. Please help this work, we need you!

Have you been successful through the community of people reading your blog in order to achieve your project?
It’s pretty hard for me to find out to who am I sending this data if i want to participate. I mean running a script on my computer then send it back to you with no more details about the movement sounds for me pretty risky. could you tell me more about you? i tried to find out but not so much info except a generic email address.
Do you know about “Personal Brain” application?
Very interesting to submit a similar system as a new OS for people like me you or us. In fact this organisation should be the best organical system for anyone cause it will mimic the way you can recall, remember things and therefore assist your organisation intuitively. pretty interesting, i am dying to see what you have done till know regarding this new OS. and if i presume well.

hi Olivier, to be honest, there wasn’t much of a response. Do you have any ideas on how to make this more open and to make people feel safe? What if we all published our results immediately? Are you working on any projects like this?
